01Accepting these terms

By creating an account or using Atril, you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the app.

02The service

Atril is an app for organising the songs and setlists of musicians and bands: songs with chords, shared setlists, real-time rehearsal mode, a metronome and related features.

03Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for everything that happens in your account. You must provide a valid email address and keep your details up to date.

You must be at least 13 to create an account, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum — in Spain it is 14. If you are below that age, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone below the minimum age, we will close it.

04Your content and copyright

You keep ownership of everything you add to Atril (lyrics, chords, notes and annotations). You give us a limited licence to store and display that content for the sole purpose of running the service — syncing it across your devices and showing it to the members of a setlist you choose to share.

You are responsible for holding the rights or licence you need for any third-party lyrics or chords you put into the app (for example, through your church or organisation's licence, such as CCLI or an equivalent). Atril does not check, and is not responsible for, the copyright of the content its users enter.

If you believe any content in Atril infringes your copyright, contact us (see Contact) and we will look into it.

05Acceptable use

You may not use Atril to harass or threaten other users, send spam or offensive content in a shared chat, try to access other people's accounts or data, or interfere with the normal running of the service.

06Subscriptions and payments

Atril is free to use for 1 month, with every feature included. You can start that month in two ways:

  • By starting the App Store free trial when you sign up. You are not charged during the month and, when it ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price you chose unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
  • Without entering any payment details. You use Atril for a full month and, when it ends, a subscription is required to keep using it.

The App Store free trial can only be used once per Apple account.

  • The subscription costs 3.99 EUR per month or 34.99 EUR per year. The price may vary by country and by your store's currency.
  • It renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Billing is handled by the store you downloaded the app from (Apple App Store or Google Play) and is charged to your account with that store when you confirm the purchase and on each renewal.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings in that store, not inside Atril. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Refunds are handled by the store under its own terms.
  • If we change the price we will tell you a reasonable time in advance, and the change will not affect you until your next renewal.

If you stop paying, your songs and setlists are not deleted: they stay saved and are there again as soon as you resubscribe.

07Service availability

We do our best to keep Atril available and working properly, but we can't guarantee an uninterrupted or error-free service. There may be maintenance windows or unplanned outages.

08Termination

You can stop using Atril and delete your account at any time from the app itself, under Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your profile, songs and setlists are removed, and musicians who joined your shared setlists will lose access to them.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously break these terms, letting you know whenever that is reasonably possible.

09Limitation of liability

Atril is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of content — we recommend keeping your own copies of lyrics and chords that matter to you.

10Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is significant, we will let you know inside the app. Continuing to use Atril after a change means you accept it.

11Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law, without affecting the rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.
